THE DESIGNER

Sandy was born in Victoria and moved to Queensland with her family at the age of five. She was passionate about design and architecture from an early age. After marrying her man Dave and having two beautiful daughters Kaitlin and Danika, Sandy decided to follow her dream and enrolled in the Bachelor of Architecture course at QUT and went on to completed her studies at TAFE.
She then established her own design practice in 1997 and has an extremely rewarding career working to achieve the optimum design outcome for her clients. Sandy specialises in the residential design field with most of her projects being Custom Designed New Homes & Large Scale Renovations in and around the Brisbane and Gold Coast region. She has also done a number of Interior Design projects, and is keen to help her clients achieve the best 'Finished Product' by assisting with colour and product selection. Sandy does not adhere to a particular 'Design Style' but rather an emphasis on functional and contemporary design, sensitivity of place and efficient and ecological principals - her approach - "each client, site and brief is unique and therefore each response and project should be equally as unique". She has also had a number of Design Projects published in various Media Publications and has been on the judging panel for the SPASA design awards on a number of occasions. |
